Created in my new studio in Toronto, Canada. Located in the 401 Richmond building.
The month of December is a big deal for Colombians. The entire month is dedicated to gatherings among family and friends, but abuelita is not here, auntie Blanca is not here. Emotions ran deep, resistance pushed me down. In the end the only way to move forward is to stay creative, do what they would want me to do.
So I painted this a week into my new studio at 401 Richmond in Toronto.
